Karin Krappen (born 10 December 1973) is an ex- Dutch darts athlete. She was a previous champion of both the Women’s World Darts Trophy and the Women’s World Masters. Her nickname was Dolphin.
Krappen originally participated in at the Women’s World Championship as a non- seeded qualifier. However, after Anastasia Dobromyslova pulled out and transferred towards PDC, PDC Krappen was named the 4th seed. She beat qualifying Kirk in the quarterfinals but lost to Gulliver in the finals again.
She made it to her final at the Women’s World Masters in 2006 she defeated Julie Gore, Claire Bywaters and Carla Molema before losing once again to Hoenselaar. Krappen took the title back in 2007, revenge for her defeat to Jones at her finals at the World Championships by beating her in the quarterfinals. She later beating Gulliver in the final, before beating Karen Lawman in the final.

Krappen has made Krappen’s World Championship debut in 2003 and lost in the quarterfinals in the quarter finals to Francis Hoenselaar. She made it to the semis in 2004, defeating Anne Kirk in the quarter finals, but she lost at the semifinals against Trina Gulliver. She was then a victim of quarter-final loss the next three times after which she lost again in 2005 to Hoenselaar, in 2006 against Jan Robbins and 2007 to Apylee Jones. She made it to the semis in 2008, where she defeated Rilana Erades to reach the quarter-finals, but was defeated by Gulliver once more.
Krappen was the winner of her first Women’s World Darts Trophy, beating all previous champions in the process and beating the 2002 winner Mieke de Boer , 2002 champion in the quarterfinals as well as the 2003 champion Gulliver during the semifinals, and Hoenselaar, the champion of 2004, at the end of the competition. The ladies ‘ competition was canceled following the event and made Krappen the last winner ever.
