Kang Sue-jin is one of the most popular and richest Ballet Dancer who was born on April 24, 1967 in Seoul, South Korea. Kang Sue-jin (Korean pronunciation [kaNG shudzin] ; born on April 24, 1967) is a South Korean ballerina. She is the principal dancer at the Stuttgart Ballet.
In 2002, Sue-jin was a part as a dancer in Die Kameliendame and to years later, she danced in the same ballet with Benito Marcellino in Cranko’s Onegin. After the 2016 performance that featured the same dance, with Jason Reilly as partner, Sue-jin had resigned from performing.
In 2013, Sue-jin published her first memoir titled I Don’t Wait for Tomorrow. The same year she also became an honorary ambassador of PyeongChang at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
In 2015, Sue-jin performed in John Neumeier’s Die Kameliendame in her hometown Seoul, South Korea and the same year appeared in Cranco’s Onegin at Seoul Arts Center where she sang the “Swan song”.
In 1998, the German Orchid Society named an orchid belonging to the Phalaenopsis Genus to honor her.

Kang Sue Jin was born in Seoul, South Korea. After her initial ballet lessons in Sun Hwa Arts Middle School in Seoul, where she majored in Korean traditional dance She continued her studies in Sun Hwa Arts High School until 1982. After graduating of high school, Sue-jin attended Marika Besobrasova’s Monte Carlo Dance School. The year 1986 was when she joined part of the Stuttgart Ballet, where she was made Soloist in 1994, and Principal Dancer in 1997.
Sue-jin joined the Stuttgart Ballet in 1986 and was the ballet’s first and the youngest Asian ballerina.
In 2003, Sue-jin debuted in USA in a role of Juliet from Cranko’s Romeo and Juliet opposite to Romeo role by Filip Barankiewicz. In 2008, Sue-jin reprised the role of Juliet in the same ballet.
