Kang In-soo was born the 10th of March, 1988 at Suwon, Gyeonggi Province. A singer who wanted to be a professional He was rejected by Anyang Arts High School under the Department of Theater and Film. He then reapplied to dancing as a second option after which he was recognized. He was not a dancer during the initial two years, preferring taking music and singing lessons. To be able to finish high school, the student was required to design an original dance piece. A male dance instructor came to the school to assist in the production of students after which Kang “fell in love” with ballet after seeing the teacher’s dance moves. Alongside the ballet class, he took part in modern dance in his final year at high school. He was accepted into Sejong University’s concours and was accepted as a major in dance despite not being able to dance. He was a graduate of the university and, for a period of two years, was the ballet instructor for the rhythmic gymnasts Son Yeon-jae as well as Shin Soo-ji. Then, he enrolled at Korea National Open University.

Kang is a vocalist of the group idol Myname. Myname released their first song “Message” in 2011. Kang was the first actor to make his debut alongside his band in the movie Shinokubo Story (2013), in which he played one of the five characters who wanted to be “stars”. Kang released his debut single mini album Naked to Japan on the 6th of September 2017. Kang’s style of music was heavily influenced through Big Bang’s Taeyang and JYJ’s Kim Junsu, Chris Brown and Usher. The singer held a party on the Tower Records store in Shibuya the day before the release of Naked and attracted 400 guests. Naked’s mini-album was ranked as number 19 in Japan’s National Oricon Albums Chart, selling 346 copies within its first week. Kang gave two concerts by himself in September, to advertise Naked.

Kang joined the military on the 26th of October, 2017. He was trained in military in the Korea Army Training Center in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province.
