Within the Oakland City Attorney’s Office, Judge Westmore was also an attorney for trial and motion and law attorney in the Litigation Division, where she was in charge of both defensive and offensive lawsuits on behalf of the City of Oakland, California and its employees in a variety of federal and state court cases that involved laws governing employment and labor civil rights, civil rights, reverse condemnation in addition to personal injury law. In recognition of her work for Oakland City officials, Oakland, Judge Westmore has been honored by community groups as well as elected officials as well as even the city itself.
