Golemac was a member of Men’s Senior’s Slovenian nation team during EuroBasket
- EuroBasket 2005 as well as at EuroBasket 2009.
Golemac began the coaching profession as an assistant for Slaven Rimac at Cibona the month of November in 2013. The surprise win at 2013-14 ABA League Final Four held in Belgrade was then followed by a string poor results that led to Rimac as well as Golemac being fired in December of 2015.
In 2017, Golemac was named a head coach for Koper Primorska. In his premier season in the club, Primorska won first trophies in club history: the 2018 Slovenian Cup and the 2018 Slovenian Supercup. In 2019, Primorska won the ABA League Second Division and was consequently promoted to the First Division. Besides this success, he won the first Slovenian League and the second Slovenian Cup in club history.
