Jurij “Jure” Zdovc (born 13 December 1966) is a Slovenian professional basketball coach and ex-player. As an athlete Zdovc was a 1.98 millimeter (6’6″) large point guard who began his professional time with Slovenian League club Smelt Olimpija.
Zdovc began his coaching journey as the Head Coach of Split in 2003. He remained as the coach in charge in Split until 2004, guiding them to 1st place finishing during the Croatian Cup. He also was the winner of the Bosnia and Herzegovina League championship alongside Bosna in 2008. He also took home the Slovenian League championship with Union Olimpija. Zdovc also took home the Slovenian Cup three times in three consecutive years with Union Olimpija, in 2009 as well as in 2010 and 2011. Zdovc was also the coach who guided Union Olimpija to the top of the European league, reaching the top-16 level in the EuroLeague.
Zdovc was named the EuroCup Coach of the Year in 2012.
In 2012, Zdovc received the EuroCup Coach of the Year award, while with Spartak Saint Petersburg.
While playing in the team of Olimpija, Zdovc won two Slovenian league titles as well as three Slovenian Cups and also the 2003 Adriatic League.
