Juliette Bergmann is one of the most popular and richest Bodybuilder who was born on November 30, 1958 in Vlaardingen, South Holland, Netherlands. Juliette Bergmann (previously Meijer) (born on November 30 1958) is a Dutch female bodybuilding champion.

Presently, Bergmann is the most successful Dutch bodybuilder around the globe, thanks to her being the sole Dutch bodybuilder who has won the Ms. Olympia. From October 26, 2001 through February 28 in 2003, she placed first on the IFBB Women’s Bodybuilding Professional Ranking List. Bergmann has been described as having the “Grecian Ideal” wherein biceps neck, calf, and biceps are comparable, as are the measurements of the waist and thighs. The first time in January of 2009 Juliette received her induction into the IFBB Hall of Fame. Since 2009, she has been President of the IFBB of the Netherlands (Dutch Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation) Director of IFBB Thailand, a member of the I.F.B.B. executive council and chairperson for the EBFF fitness committee.

After the 2003 Ms. Olympia, Bergmann retired from bodybuilding.

After finishing school she went on to study financial management, journalism and fitness training. She got married (married name – Meijer) in 1975, but divorced in 1985.

The year 1985 was the time she relocated in 1985 to Middelharnis, Netherlands, where she resided with her friend and sister. She was a publisher as well as a travel agency. She also is a member of Ironman Gym. If she’s not traveling her job is in working during the day, and then in the evenings, she is in the fitness center. She frequently travels and also takes part in lots of guest poses. She is currently living in the Netherlands and Thailand with her husband.

She started training in bodybuilding to shed weight in 1981, along with her husband after she went to a bodybuilding contest , where she had an excellent impression of the contestants. When she was in 1982, she decided to participate in her first contest which she won. Then, in 1983 she made the decision to build a body after attending an event for bodybuilding in 1983, and was impressed by how beautiful the women appeared.

She was crowned champion in 1984. took home her first Dutch National Championship and repeated as champion in 1985. The following year, she was selected to compete in the World Amateur Championship, where she won first place. At the end of 1985, she took part at her very first Ms. Olympia, but failed to make it into the top 14 with a 14th place. But she did achieve remarkable success in 1986, being the winner of the Pro World Championship, placing second (by one point) in the Ms. International, and sixth in the Ms. Olympia. In 1988, at the World Pro Championships, just an hour prior to the event she was informed that she had been found to be positive on this drug test, and consequently was eliminated. Following 1989, she was planning to withdraw for a year from competition before returning in 1991. However, her plans fell apart after she sustained a severely fractured ankle as a result of an attack by a (Doberman) dogs attack. She was unable to return to training for a few years. Since 1991, she’s been a pro-judge, secretary and treasurer of the NBBF (Dutch Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation).

In 2001, Bergmann returned to competition after a twelve-year absence, during which she worked as an IFBB judge. Entering the Ms. Olympia contest, she took first place in the lightweight class, and defeated heavyweight class winner Iris Kyle to win the overall title, the only time in Ms. Olympia history the lightweight class winner has won the overall title. She repeated as the Ms. Olympia lightweight class winner in 2002 and 2003, losing the overall title to Lenda Murray both years.
