Juliano Haus Belletti (born 20 June 1976) is an Brazilian Former professional soccer player, who primarily played as a right-back. He was given the Silver Ball by Placar for his performance at Atletico Mineiro during the 1999 Brasileiro Serie A.
After his return in Sao Paulo, he became an integral part of Brazil’s national team. Brazil national team, playing the position of right-back for the second time. Rumours suggested the possibility of a move into La Liga side Valencia in 2001, but the plan ended in the final second. The club eventually relocated to Europe in 2002 and signed a five-year deal with Valencia’s rivals in the local league, Villarreal, while on international duty with Brazil during the 2002 FIFA World Cup. In 2004, following an excellent time at Villarreal and Barcelona, he was signed by Barcelona and was the first choice for right-back, and also a important set-piece taker in the team.
After winning the Liga title in his first season, Belletti gradually fell out of favour both in Barcelona and in the national team. From being a regular in the 2004–05 season, he faced tough competition from fellow right-back Oleguer and spent his second season in-and-out of the first team.
Belletti’s first and only goal with Barcelona was the winner in the 2006 UEFA Champions League Final. On 17 May 2006 at the Stade de France in Paris, Barcelona played English club Arsenal, Oleguer started over Belletti, who was on the substitute bench. When manager Frank Rijkaard eventually brought him on for Oleguer, Belletti scored the second goal in a 2–1 come-from-behind win to give Barça the Champions League crown.
In 1999 the year 1999, Belletti was loaned out in 1999 to Atletico Mineiro. Playing as an attacking-midfielder, Belletti helped the club to finish second in the Brazilian League and managed to win the Bola de Prata (“Silver Ball”), an award handed by Placar magazine to the players nominated to the Brazilian League Squad of the Year.

Belletti was born in Cascavel, Belletti started his career as a center midfielder from Brazil with the Brazilian youth squad of Cruzeiro during the year 1992. The first time he played professionally was in the month of November 1994. He made his debut in March of 1996. took part in a deal which sent him as well as Serginho forward to Sao Paulo FC in exchange for five players: Ailton, Donizete, Gilmar, Palhinha and Vitor. While playing in the team of Sao Paulo, he eventually became a right-back.
Belletti was selected for first time back in the year 1995, by then head coach Zagallo to join his country’s Brazilian Brazil national side. But his first appearance was only made in 2001 and he would be the second choice for the position of right-back ahead of Cafu.

On 9 June 2010, Chelsea announced that Belletti was one of three players whose contract would not be renewed upon their expiry in the summer, meaning that Belletti leaves Chelsea on a free transfer.
