In 2007, when Davis was enrolled in wrestling classes and suffered a serious facial injury when an opponent attempted an incorrect chokeslam and threw Davis upon his forehead. The result was for the right leg of his knee to strike directly on his right cheek, and break almost everything on that aspect of his face. Davis claims that he doesn’t have any memory of the individual who made the maneuver and didn’t feel any pain since the orbital bone shattered as well as pinched the nerve that was connected to his brain, which caused temporarily facial paralysis.
