On 2 February 2014, she won the Winnipeg Winter Open trophy – her maiden WSA world title, by defeating Egypt`s Heba El Torky 11-13 11-8 11-5 3-11 12-10 in the final.

In October, she beat Salma Hany from Egypt 11–9, 8–11, 5–11, 11–8, 11–9 to reach the semifinals of the 2015 Carol Weymuller Open. She was beat by Joelle King in the semifinals. Joshna Chinappa (born 15 September 1986) is an Indian professional squash player. She achieved a world record-breaking position in the category of World No. 10 in July 2016. Joshna is the only Indian to take home the British Squash Championship title in 2005 in the category of under 19 she was the youngest Indian female national champion.
