Jordi Villacampa Amoros (born on October 11, 1963, in Reus, Spain) is a former professional basketball player for Joventut Badalona and was the the club’s former chairman. at 1.96 m (6 6 feet. 5 inches.) tall, he was small forward- shooting guard. The main attributes and skills he had as an athlete were his speed and great shot from a distance. Villacampa is widely recognized as one of the greatest European swing players of his time.

For the last 21 years, Villacampa was a top player who played for that same team, Joventut de Badalona. He made his debut his first game in the men’s professional senior squad from Joventut Badalona at 16 years old. He played all of his time there until his retirement in 1997 at the age of 33. A great tribute being paid to him on the 22nd of December. In the time he was in the team of Joventut Badalona, he won the EuroLeague as well as the EuroLeague, and two Spanish League championships, as and other titles. Together with Joventut de Badalona, he participated in 506 games of the Spanish ACB League, and recorded 8,991 points, which is the second-highest ever recorded in Spanish ACB League history.

On 27 December 2016, Villacampa announced it would leave the office after 17 years at the helm of the club. He finally did it on 26 April 2017, becoming former player Juan Antonio Morales the new president of Joventut Badalona.

Villacampa’s 8th Joventut Badalona jersey was retired in 1997 during an event during the Pavello Olimpic of Badalona.
