Jordan Turner (born 9 January 1989) is an English professional footballer in the league of rugby who plays in the position of a centre or loose player for Huddersfield Giants in the Super League as well as the England Knights at international level.

St Helens reached the 2014 Super League Grand Final, and Turner was picked to play as a loose forward during their 14-6 win against their opponents the Wigan Warriors at Old Trafford.

On 14 July 2016 he signed with NRL club the Canberra Raiders for two seasons.

On 26 May 2017, it was announced that Turner had signed for Super League side the Huddersfield Giants on a three and a half year contract. He made his début on Sunday 4 June against Warrington Wolves, scoring a try in the side’s 44-4 home win.

Turner was named St Helens Player of the Season in 2013.

Turner was first a member of Salford City Reds at the age of 14 and was a member of his club of amateurs Waterhead A.R.L.F.C. (in Waterhead, Greater Manchester, Oldham). He was captain of his team in the England U18s and won awarded as the Academy Player as well as Young Player of the Year in 2007 before being a part of the Salford City Reds’ first team for two seasons.

Turner has joined Hull F.C. following his departure from Salford City Reds at the beginning of the 2010 season. The much-coveted new signing hopes for success in the years to come at Hull F.C. and has been a regular in stand-off and at centre since he put on the white and black jersey. Twice in 2012, Turner was part of his England Knights team. The team was formed in July 2012. Turner agreed to sign a contract for two years to join St. Helens starting from the 2013 season.

After 9 consecutive wins in the 2014 season (1 in the Challenge Cup) the Saints lost 2 consecutive games against Wigan Warriors and Widnes Vikings. Jordan was determined to make the club bounce back from two moral killer defeats. As of 24 April 2014, Jordan has scored three tries this season (all in the Super League) against Wigan, Catalans Dragons and Castleford Tigers.
