Jordan Thomas Holmes (born 8 May 1997) is an Australian professional footballer, who plays the role of goalkeeper at Ebbsfleet United. Holmes has played for Australia at the national level in the U20’s as well as the U23’s.

In 2015-16, he played numerous games for the U-21s in the league due to numerous impressive performances in July 2015. when he was chosen as the backup goalie for the Bournemouth against Nantes game. In October, 2015 Holmes was part of the first team to an League Cup match against Liverpool and, in November 2015, he was part of the first team in order to take part in an Premier League game with Southampton. In November of 2015, Holmes went on loan to Weymouth as the team’s first “keeper. In December, however, Holmes was pulled from his loan period to play in an Premier League game with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge due to injuries to Artur Boruc and Adam Federici. He continued to play for Bournemouth for the rest of the season of 2015-16. In May of 2016, Holmes made the bench for the game against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the absence of Federici.

In 2017–18, Holmes continued to be part of the first team squad, playing 18 times for the U23s. Holmes signed a one-year contract extension in May 2018. In January 2019, Holmes joined Scottish Premiership side St Mirren on loan until the end of the season. He was released by Bournemouth at the end of the season.

Holmes joined Ebbsfleet United in August 2019, making his debut in a 2–2 against Notts County. A week later, Holmes saved a second half penalty against Aldershot Town. He saved another penalty in a match against Wrexham, although it could not prevent a 1–0 loss.

Holmes has been a part of Australia on a national scale with the U19s and U20s at the Asian Championship and U20’s World Cup qualifying matches. In May of 2015, Holmes was picked to face Brazil in the U20s of Australia in Win Stadium Wollongong. While Australia lost 1-0, Holmes was an outstanding man-of-the- match performance, pulling off a string of impressive stops from Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City) and Andrea Perieria (Manchester United). Holmes is currently vice-captain for the Under 23 Australian Olyroos.
