Cheever is a member of the U.S. Snowboarding’s SBX A Team. In 2011 his name was announced as by the U.S. snowboarding champion and had two World Cup 2nd-place finishes at Stoneham Mountain Resort in Quebec and Chiesa in Valmalenco in Italy. The second American male in the discipline to be the winner of the World Cup. He ranked third in the world for snowcross (SBX). Yet, there is no U.S. man has won the FIS the World Cup in SBX.

Cheever began skiing when he was just eight years old in Nashoba Valley. At Thanksgiving in 1997, Cheever’s parents offered him on snowboarding lessons for free on Attitash Bear Peak located in New Hampshire. Cheever took to the board and didn’t look back.
