John Gordon “Gord” Perrin (born 17 August 1989) is a Canadian male volleyball player. He is part of both the Canada men’s national volleyball team as well as the Brazilian team Sada Cruzeiro, a participant in the 2016 Summer Olympics, 2015 NORCECA Champion, twice Turkish Champion (2013 2013 and 2015).

He was a member of the senior Canada national team for volleyball program in the year 2011. He has been a part of each FIVB World League squad since 2012 and helped the team to finish an all-time record 5th in 2013. He was also part of the team that took with a record national team 7th in the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship as well as helping the team win bronze in the 2014 Pan American Games. Alongside all of this, Perrin also helped the team to win silver at the 2012 NORCECA Championship, silver at the 2013 NORCECA Championship, and gold at the 2015 NORCECA Championship.

Perrin was a member of the squad that finished 5th at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Perrin was part in the Canada men’s national team in the year 2006. The team were 4th at the Boys in the Youth NORCECA Volleyball Championship. The following year He joined the Canada national junior volleyball team, and was able to help the team win second place at the 2008 NORCECA Junior Men’s Volleyball Championship.

Perrin was a player on the Thompson Rivers University Wolfpack men’s volleyball team from 2008 until the year 2011. In his time at Thompson Rivers University Perrin helped the team take bronze in the 2007/08 CIS Men’s Volleyball Championship, concluding the event with an all-star team and, during the 2009/10 season, Perrin was named Thompson Rivers University athlete of the year. For the 2011/12 season Perrin joined Turkish team Arkas Spor, helping the club finish runners-up at the national championships in his debut season. While in Turkey Perrin helped the team take home the Turkish Men’s Volleyball League twice in 2013, and 2015, in addition to receiving the title of Best Server for this season. In addition to the success in Turkey, Perrin also helped the team to achieve a record of 4th during the CEV Champions League.

In 2015, John Gordon Perrin signed with Volley Piacenza in Italy, but his season was cut short due to a surgery required to fix a torn left meniscus in March 2015. For the 2016/17 season, he signed with Polish club Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, reuniting him with fellow national team member Gavin Schmitt. In April 2017 Perrin extended a contract with Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, and he wanted to continue his career in PlusLiga. In July 2017 he talked publicly about his moving to Chinese league despite the currently signed contract with Resovia. The club did not want to cancel their agreement and applied to FIVB on blocking unprofessional situations when a player wants to void already signed contract without previous fulfillment. Perrin broke agreement and went to Beijing Volleyball.
