Jerry Chamberlain is one of the most popular and richest American singer-songwriter who was born on February 25, 1952 in United States. In the latter part of 1974 Chamberlain received an invitation to play in Jubal’s Last Band, a band which was comprised from Terry Scott Taylor, Steve Baxter and bassist Kenny Paxton. Marty Dieckmeyer was soon brought into the band to replace the departure of Paxton. Around mid-April 1975 Jubal’s Last Band or Jubal (as the abbreviated version of the name that was briefly employed) was invited for an audition with Maranatha! Music as well as Calvary Chapel (without Baxter, who couldn’t leave work) with the intention of signing an agreement for recording and performing. At the Maranatha Music meeting, another group, headed by Darrell Mansfield, was also under the name of Jubal. Both groups decided to change their names to be clear of confusion. Mansfield changed the name of his band to Gentle Faith, and Jubal’s Last Band/Jubal was changed to Daniel Amos.
The year 2006 saw Chamberlain returned to join the forces of Terry Taylor by lending a helping hand on The Lost Dogs album The Lost Cabin and the Mystery Trees. Chamberlain has also returned under the Swirling Eddies pseudonym “Spot,” for the 2007 album The midget The midget, the speck and molecules.
The years 2004-2005 witnessed Chamberlain and McCall join forces with other friends to form an all-British invasion band known as The Pickled Beats. The group continues to play with minor lineup changes, to perform occasional live performances.
