Jeroen Tesselaar is one of the most popular and richest Dutch footballer who was born on January 16, 1989 in Wognum, North Holland, Netherlands. Jeroen Tesselaar (born 16 January 1989 in Wognum) is a Dutch footballer who plays left back for the Dutch team Quick Boys. He previously played at AZ Alkmaar, Telstar, Kilmarnock, St Mirren and De Graafschap.

On July 14, 2011, Tesselaar later sign with St Mirren on a one-year contract after a stunning performance in a pre-season trials. When he joined St Mirren, Tesselaar cited his decision to join this club for “efforts to play total football.” The first game he played for was with Dunfermline in East End Park on 25 July. In August 20 the player assisted on with both St Mirren goals for Steven Thomson which scored two goals during the 2-1 win on Easter Road against Hibernian.

Tesselaar signed for Kilmarnock in June 2012 on a two-year contract despite interests from Aberdeen. On his move, Manager Kenny Shiels told STV, “We’re really happy to get him on board because we’ve lost Ben Gordon so now we’ve got competition between Rory McKeown and Jeroen.”

Tesselaar re-joined St Mirren on a one-year deal, after leaving Kilmarnock at the end of season 2013–14. The Dutchman previously played for the Saints during season 2011–12 in the Scottish Premier League, making 33 league appearances.

Tesselaar began his professional journey in his home country of the Netherlands in the Netherlands with HVV Hollandia when he was just thirteen, before signing with AZ Alkmaar. The 2008-09 season was when Tesselaar was signed to his debut professional deal which will run until the end of 2010. He didn’t play in a league match with the team, though he he did play on loan at Telstar during three consecutive seasons along with AZ player Furdjel Narsingh as well as Kevin Brands.

Tesselaar was out for six weeks due to a hamstring injury. After two months out, Tesselaar made his return, where he came on for James Dayton in the last minutes, as they beat Celtic, to give their first win at Celtic Park for the first time since 1955. He made his first start since being injured, as Kilmarnock beat Ross County 3–0 on 9 November 2012. He finished his first season at the club, making twenty-six appearance.
