Jermaine Bishop (born on February 22, 1997) is an American basketball player in the NCAA basketball league for the Norfolk State Spartans of the Mid- Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC).
As a senior the team was named on the 1st Team All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, first player from Norfolk since the 2017 season. He was also named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 15 second team, and also the BOXTOROW The HBCU Division I All-America second team. Additionally, he was awarded an appearance on the College Sports Information Directors (CoSIDA) Division I Academic All-District 3 team. He was being the only basketball player from NSU history to be awarded academic all- district honors. Bishop played in and started all 31 games. He the average was 15.6 scores and 3.5 rebounding for each contest (averaged 18.5 points during MEAC game). In the entire year, Bishop scored 483 points and 109 rebounds. He also had 32 steals, 69 assists as well as four block.
Bishop set the school record for 3-pointers (98) and 3-point attempts (248), breaking the previous marks of 92 (set in 2018-19 and 1986-87) and 237 (set 2007-08), respectively. After just one season, ended the year ranked ninth in NSU career records in 3-point field goal percentage and 19th in 3-pointers. He declared for the 2020 NBA draft.
Bishop transferred to Norfolk State University for his 2018–19 redshirt junior year. He sat out the season due to NCAA rules as a Division I transfer.
When he was a junior as a sophomore at Saint Louis in 2016-17, Bishop only played in 9 games and had 9 start assignments. After nine games, Bishop sustained an injury to his ankle and was issued medical redshirt. When he suffered his injury Bishop was leading Billikens both in assists as well as scoring. He scored 11.6 scores and 4.7 assists per game. Bishop scored a career-high 27 points, shooting 11-of-23 (4-of-9 from the 3-point line) in the game against BYU on the road in Las Vegas and led the Billikens in scoring against Kansas State with 11 points and Wichita State with 12 points.

Jermaine Bishop was a student at Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York.
