This made “Boomerang” Jasmin Wagner’s fifth top-ten single, over a decade after its release. The campaign was presumably inspired by a similar campaign in Britain against The X Factor, where “Killing in the Name” by Rage Against the Machine was the Christmas number one in 2009.
