Wrightson was Chief Film Censor between 1991 and 1994. Wrightson stated in 1992 that Wrightson’s “strong will” was both a blessing as well as a curse. As a film censor, strength is essential. There are so many people and groups pulling in so many directions that one must simply go with their instincts, consult and add a healthy dose of common sense.
