Jan Robbe is one of the most popular and richest Record Producer who was born on June 14, 1980 in Ghent, Flemish Region, Belgium. Jan Robbe, born 14 June 1980 in Ghent (Belgium), is an electronic music musician. His music projects aliases Atomhead and UndaCova are also known. In 2003, he founded Entity, an experimental netlabel with Nico de Gols (aka Kaebin Yoeld). Jan Robbe is well-known for his ability to express different musical styles using various pseudonyms. His most notable projects are UndaCova and Atomhead. Erratic, on the other hand, is focused on creating fractured industrial beats using DSP sound design techniques. UndaCova is known for its densely textured DSP sound designs. The Diagnostic project, which was released in 2018, explores sound design, noise, and glitch structures that combine digital and modular synthesizers. Robbe has recorded music on prestigious labels like Dyslexic Response, Hangars Liquides and collaborated with artists operating in similar aesthetic domains such as Neurocore, Subskan, La Peste and Xanopticon.

The self-released power music EP Human Nature marked a significant shift in sound in 2003. This period was marked with dark soundscaping, and aggressive beat constructions. It culminated in 2006 with Intrusion’s release on Isolate Records. Intrusion’s music is known for its high production values, hyper- intensity and sonic density. The album also features remixes from Neurocore, a Polish cybercore artist, and Imminent, a Belgian musician. Igloo Magazine’s Luca Maini described the album’s sound by saying that “Somatic Responses are mangled and fastened up to create a teeth grinding industrial monster, ultra- processed and with thousands upon thousands of razor-sharp beats packed together.” …. If you love Richard Devine, but think he should keep performing the best music live, or if Venetian Snares is too melodic, this is the music for you. UndaCova has remixed tracks from Danny Kreutzfeldt and Diagram of Suburban Chaos. It is also featured on Thinner’s Recore remix album and Somia’s Miad. In 2007, the project was undercover.

Atomhead was founded in 2004 as a means to evolve the sounds already explored with the UndaCova moniker. Often compared with the cyberdelic flashcore experiments of La Peste, Atomhead released Spiral Field Velocity 2.0 in 2005 on La Peste’s Hangars Liquides label, the main stable behind flashcore and experimental speedcore. Atomhead has also been likened to 60’s-era Iannis Xenakis and power electronics. Atomhead appeared on numerous compilations throughout 2007 and 2008, including Vortex on Entity, Delayed Reaction on Peace Off, and We Are The Music Breakerz on Reconfiguration Records. Atomhead has remixed tracks by Sedarka, Ronny Ragtroll, Xanopticon, and Prometheus Burning, among others.

2003 saw the inception of Erratic, a side-project for abstract, “highly immersive soundscapes” and psycho-/electro-acoustic sound art. Erratic’s goal is to “unify sounds with thoughts and create imaginary visual environments”. Robbe steers clear of computer-generated beats or rhythms for Erratic’s majority of output. Instead, Robbe uses contact microphone-derived sounds and “exotic instruments”. These sounds can then be manipulated with various audio editors. Many of the results sound natural and organic, and are often compared to oceanic and mediterranean settings as well as drone and microsound genres. Pandemia was formed in 2004 by Erratic and Hackeronte, an ambient artist. In an effort to create a suitable sonic environment, they released Venus Urania on Entity on the day of Venus’ transit in 2004. Erratic also released Presence on Mirakel Musik that year. This was a 50-minute collection of field recordings with rich textures, intended to help the listener fall asleep. Erratic also collaborated musical artists Andrey Kiritchenko, Lina from Belgium, and visual artists Jesper Bentzen. They released Activation Fields and The Invisible Landscapes on Mystery Sea (2006) and contributed to compilations on Con-v and AntmanuvMicro as well as Soulseek Records.

Jan Robbe is one of the richest Record Producer from Belgium. According to our analysis, Wikipedia, Forbes & Business Insider, Jan Robbe 's net worth $5 Million. (Last Update: December 11, 2023)

Jan Robbe took the name “UndaCova”, in 1999 to release IDM experiments with FL Studio. It remains one of Robbe’s favourite programs. These include S-T-U-C-K (1999) on the Arghprkl networklabel and a series meditative brainwave synchronizers that were released on Theta. Autoplate later released a split of Affective Disorder called Study of a Ladybug and a Rope. Robbe was influenced by post-rock and trip hop, as well old video games music. This inspired the Metamood Katalyst 12″ on Pleemobil. Freestyle Magazine’s Say Vegin drew parallels to the album’s sound with 8-bit. He called it a collection “hard-tek cut ups, textured polygons, and hypnotizing synths”. Robbe founded the xE Phalanx Project, a collaboration with artists around the globe, by the end 2002. UndaCova would participate in two xE Phalanx albums: 5E Phalanx’s Pragmatic Impulse (with 7E Phalanx) and 7E Phalanx’s Pulse (both released on Entity netlabel).

Entity founders Jan Robbe, Nico de Gols and Nico de Gols collaborated to create Duncan Avoid. The goal of the project was to challenge musical and technical limits. Enough Records released their first album Cybernetics in

  1. It was a concept album about transhumanism, emerging technologies and other topics. This album stands out among the Enough releases due to its use of microtonality, unresolved atmospherics and extensive use of microtonality. One journalist described it as a “spacious, complex, and possibly psychoactive menagerie integrated electronic soundscapes”. …. is a pure abstruse combination of sonic noogenetics, synth coils and unfurling electronic helices that produces from the ether intangible imagery, high-tech new conjoined with ananthropomorphic sentience. Cybernetics was then followed by appearances at Kirdec’s Stadskantoor zero and d.compose’s Analysis EP. Duncan Avoid also contributed a Cybernetics-esque remix to d.compose’s “Thresn 53-231001”. Duncan Avoid was also performing in Europe during this time. He performed at the Cabaret Voltaire in Berlin with Shitmat, Chevron, and at the 2003 Fuckparade, Liege, Belgium.

In 2004 the duo released their magnum opus Metaphysics on Hive Records. Many have found the album’s fusing and traversing of disparate styles difficult to categorize, with one reviewer calling it “so innovative it sounds almost entirely novel, almost totally devoid of obvious influences, to the point of being a new form without a ready frame of reference.” Similar sentiments were expressed by others, with descriptions ranging from “punchy breakcore freneticism coiled tightly around endlessly twisted ambience and hectic experimental sound sculpture”, to “a gaseous contrail of solar noise and ice particles where ambient breaths of watery melodies get heat-flashed into steam, and software-driven drum programming is savaged by extended processor cycles.” Prolific polystylist C-drik and Ukrainian noise artist Kotra provided remixes of “Auditory Arms” and “Parallel Grounds”, respectively. Duncan Avoid also lent tracks to Enough Records’ Retork compilation and the limited edition FUCK compilation released on Hive. The project has since been put on an indefinite hiatus.
