Jan Haudemann-Andersen Biography

Jan Haudemann-Andersen is one of the most popular and richest Investor who was born on March 27, 1958 in Skedsmokorset, Norway. Haudemann–Andersen received his sivilokonom through Agder distriktshogskole, BI Norwegian Business School and attended the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy at Oscarsborg Fortress. His stepbrother Stein HaudemannAndersen, a 1955-born Stein HaudemannAndersen, gave him a loan. He then became a speculative investment. Haudemann-Andersen founded the investment firm Verde in 1986 with Stein Olav Revelsby, Geir Aune and Tore AkselVoldberg (born 1963). They invested together in Norsk Vikingolje, an oil company. They sold their shares in 1990 (just before the Gulf War), and Norsk Vikingolje was transformed into an investment company. Frontier became its new name. Later, Engebret O. Fekene (born 1957) joined. Although they were primarily focused on shipping, in 1994 they also purchased Morgenbladet.

Haudemann-Andersen was made the majority shareholder of Tandberg Data in 1995 and further invested via Decibel. Although he was the chairman of Tandberg Data until 2001, he had begun selling out the company before it fell in 1998. He was also involved in Ask (later Proxima), a projector-or video company, which was separate from Tandberg. In 1999, he sold the company.

HaudemannAndersen also founded Datum Invest in 1986. In the 1990s, he also started other investment firms like Datum, Datum, and Wega. Together with Einar Jorgen Greve, a lawyer and investor, he established the company Datum in

1997. Harald Arnet, a 1961-born director, was later a collaborator with Haudemann-Andersen, as well as the other “Vikakameratene”. He also founded Trojan A/S, later known as Wega Oil. HaudemannAndersen also manages the day- to-day management of this company. (in Turkish)
