Glazov edited and wrote the introduction to David Horowitz’s book Left Illusions. Glazov is also co-editor, with David Horowitz, of The Hate America Left. He is also the author of Canadian Policy towards Khrushchev’s Soviet Union, McGill-Queen’s University Press 2002, as well as 15 Tips for Being a Good Leftist.
Glazov holds Canadian citizenship. He wrote in one of his articles: “Canada is based on anti-Americanism. It is built in opposition to America. Without anti- Americanism—as one author has quipped—Canada would cease to exist.”
In 2009 he published a book entitled United in Hate: The Left’s Romance with Tyranny and Terror. Glazov’s new book, Jihadist Psychopath: How He Is Charming, Seducing, and Devouring Us, is being released on December 18, 2018.
Glazov wrote in an online article on October 16, 2000 that Trudeau had “never met any communist he didn’t like”, shortly after Trudeau’s death.

Glazov’s father, Yuri Glazov was a Soviet dissident in the Leonid Brezhnev era. He signed the Letter of Twelve denouncing Soviet human rights violations. Marina Glazova was Glazov’s mother. She was an active dissident and typed and circulated Samizdat underground political literature. Glazov’s father took a risk and applied for a visa to leave the USSR. Yuri Glazov, his family, and Jamie were able to escape imprisonment by leaving the USSR in 1972. They settled in Halifax in 1975 when Jamie was nine years old.
Glazov received his bachelor’s degree from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1988. Glazov earned his MA in political science from Dalhousie University in 1990, and his PhD in History at York University in 1997. He was the author of The American Partisan’s “Dr. Progressive” column.
In an interview with G. Gordon Liddy, he appeared on CSPAN2’s Book TV on April 6, 2009.
