She starred alongside Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys in the 2013 television series The Americans.
In 1990, Dvorovenko joined the National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Kiev as a soloist, and was promoted to principal dancer in 1992. When she was touring with the company, she and her colleagues decided to bring as much food back home as possible.
In 1996, Dvorovenko joined the American Ballet Theatre, and was promoted to soloist the following year. She became a principal dancer in 2000. She had danced many lead roles at the company, including Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty and Kitri in Don Quixote.
She married Maxim Beloserkovsky and together they had a daughter named Emma in 2005.
