He won the 2015 All Africa Music (AFRIMA) award for Best Gospel Artist and the 2016 AFRIMA award for Male Artiste in African Inspirational for his song “Testimony”.
In 2013, Icha released his first ever music project titled Second Chance produced by William Chebeya. In May 2014, he was nominated for Best Gospel Artist of The Year at the inaugural All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMMA), but did not win. In 2015, he was again nominated for the same award and won. In 2016, his song “Testimony” earned him an AFRIMA award for Best Male Artiste in African Inspirational.
