She has won her title of WBC women’s flyweight title from 2018 on and prior to that, she held the WBC lightweight title from 2013 until 2017. She also held her WBA women’s interim minimumweight title between 2009 and the year 2011.

She was defeated in her next fight and again, this time by SD and Irma Sanchez, in the month of June. Following a UD victory over Fredee Gonzalez, she beat Naoko Shibata via SD to claim the unclaimed WBC women’s light flyweight championship on March 3rd 2013, at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. A judge scored the fight at 96-94 for Silva but the 3rd judge judge scored the fight 96-94 in favor of Shibata. She would later fight for the WBC Light Flyweight championship eight times, in fights against Maricela Quintero in June and Ava Knight in October 2013; Jessica Chavez in November 2014; Jolene Blackshear in May and a fourth fight with Esmeralda Moreno, in the month of September, 2015; Mari Ando in March, Keisher McLeod-Wells in July and then Nina Radovanovic in November of 2016. The reign of her title ended when she fought Esmeralda Moreno in the fourth round of her professional career on April 22nd, 2017, at Unidad Deportiva Martin Alarcon in Metepec, Mexico. The judges gave the fight 95-94 and 96-93 in favor over Moreno and the final judge judge scored the fight 96-93 for Silva.

After losing by Tada, Silva moved back to light flyweight in order to claim title vacant WBC Youth female light flyweight title. She defeated Susana Perez by a third-round TKO on June 11 in Deportivo Trabajadores del Metro in Mexico City. Silva defended her championship three times, before losing in the third round to Jessica Nery Plata by SD on 21 April 2012 at Estadio Jose Lerma Perez in Ocoyoacac, Mexico.

Silva made her debut in professional competition on May 5, 2007 with an all- round unanimous decision (UD) victory over Ana Arrazola in Metepec, Mexico. Silva took her next fight by split-decision (SD) with Esmeralda Moreno during August prior to suffering her first loss by the majority vote (MD) in the rematch she had with Moreno to defend her Mexico women’s flyweight interim title on February 23, 2008 . In her next bout, she took on WBA lightweight champion Yesica Bopp on August 8 2009, at Palacio Penarol in Montevideo, Uruguay. Silva was defeated for the second time of her career using UD and the scorecards showing 99-92, 99-91, and 97-93. Silva was able to move down one weight class prior to her next match to take home her the WBA women’s interim minimumweight championship on the 5th of September in the Roberto Duran Arena in Panama City, Panama, defeating Ana Fernandez via UD with scores of 88-82and 87-83 and 86-84. Silva was able to defend the interim title one month after, against Marisol Molina in the third round via technological knockout (TKO) prior to capturing title vacant WBC Youth female minimumweight title on the 24th of June, 2010 when she defeated Patricia Hernandez by second-round TKO at the Jose Cuervo Salon in Mexico City. Silva was able to defend the WBC Youth title three times before going up against WBA the champion of minimum weight Etsuko Tada on the 17th of April 2011 on the Yomiuri Bunka Hall in Toyonaka, Japan. Silva was defeated in her third attempt at winning the title in the world with scores of 96-94,98-93 and 98-92.

Six months after losing her WBC light flyweight title, she moved up a division to compete at flyweight, defeating Isabel Millan by UD in October before facing Melissa McMorrow for the vacant WBC female flyweight title. The bout took place on 26 May 2018 at the Teatro Molière in Mexico City. Silva defeated McMorrow by UD to become a two-weight world champion, with the scorecards reading 100–90 and 98–92 twice.
