After his training, he moved to Hong Kong where he was discovered by Lau Kar- leung. Lau Kar-leung was filming Martial Arts of Shaolin and hired Hung to be Jet Li’s stunt double. In 1988, he moved to Hong Kong. Hung was a stuntman and later an actor. As an actor, he had only small roles.
