Huang was announced as one of the 24 Team NII members at the team inauguration ceremony on 11 November. She was a part of the first major concert by SNH48, “SNH48 Guangzhou Concert”, which took place in Guangzhou International Sports Arena.
Huang made her acting debut in Souvenirs, a horror short film. In 2017, she made her small-screen acting debut in the romance drama Stairway to Stardom, where she played a supporting role for a high-profile celebrity.
