Bharoocha was the musical director and performed as 4 drummers in the Boredoms77 Boadrum performance, which took place on July 7, 2007, at the Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park. Brooklyn, New York. Hisham performed and directed the 88 Boadrum on 8/8/2008. This duo of free concerts was held at La Brea Tar Pits, Los Angeles, and the Williamsburg waterfront, Brooklyn, NY. The concerts featured 88 drummers chosen by Boredoms, Hisham Bharoocha (the concert’s director) and ended at 8:08 pm local time. Boredoms performed in Los Angeles and Gang Gang Dance led the Brooklyn concerts. Hisham was the artistic director of the project.

After graduating from RISD 1998, Bharoocha moved in New York City and became involved in the art and music scene. Soft Circle has released two albums since he left Black Dice in 2005. “Full Bloom”, his first solo album, was released in 2005. Ben Vida was on the next album, “Shore Obsessed”. Bharoocha was also a drummer for Pixeltan who released several EPs via DFA Records.
He met Brian Gibson, a fellow musician, at RISD and quickly became the singer in Lightning Bolt. However, this was only temporary and Bharoocha soon began to play drums in the band that would become Black Dice. Bharoocha’s only official release of Lightning Bolt music was a track on Repopulation Program. Hisham was a member of Black Dice from 2005 to 2005.
In 2009 Ben Vida, formerly of Town & Country and currently of Singer & Birdshow, joined Soft Circle. A new album entitled “Shore Obsessed” was released November 6, 2010.
