Kyono revealed in June 2008 that the full-length album Hakai would be released on July 23, 2008. “Systematic People” will be the first single and will feature Ryo from Maximum the Hormone. “Systematic People” was also used as the opening theme of the anime series Kurozuka (novel). The album will feature guest appearances in the same way as Nu Riot. They include Justice, Chinomoreno (of Deftones), Ceephax and Numanoid vs. Mazda.

Kyono released the mini album Nu Riot in 2007 under the name Wagdug Futuristic Unity. This album was Kyono’s solo effort and is not considered a new project as there were guest appearances throughout the tracks. Guests include: Ultra Brain, Motor and DJ Starscream.

Kyono says that he used to be an MTV junkie in his youth, but he discovered Japanese punk music in high school, such as Gauze, The Stalin and Inu. He then ventured into international punk such as Crass or Pop Group. Kyono also stated that the first record he purchased wasn’t very punk-inspired as it was Electric Light Orchestra’s Secret Messages. He formed the Boowy-inspired punk band Berrie in 1985 with Minoru Kojima (aka Shin). Later, the group was joined later by Takeshi Ueda (bassist) and Seto (drummer). They performed their first show as seniors in high school, and ventured out to Tokyo (and Shinjuku) for the second time. His image was very punk-glam and he would switch between a loud, abrasive punk voice and very melodic.

His popularity as a singer increased since the release OSC DIS. He contributed vocals to Joujouka songs, Sasori Sasori, and The Crystal Method Weapons Of Mad Distortion, which were featured in the Dracula/Blade fight scene of Blade: Trinity. Kyono, who announced that The Mad Capsule Markets would be shutting down on 31 March 2006 on his birthday, created the WAG DUG unity site. Here he posts diary entries about his recent DJ livesets in Japan as well as other projects such the wag dug clothing range. He has been a vocalist on HAKAI (Deathtroy) from the Death Note movie soundtrack. Sid Wilson, Slipknot’s star, is also featured on this track.

Wagdug Futuristic Unity has since released the follow up albums Ram The Crush and RAW as an actual band as opposed to the digital hardcore sound earlier material has had, and as from 2012-2013, Kyono has collaborated with the likes of DJ Baku to release the collaborative album “Unknown Music Allianz” and is a member of the Metalcore super group T.C.L (The Chunk Legend) which featured former Undown members TORUxxx and Yamada, to release the album Tremendous CLassixx.
