Hilda Kibet, a Kenyan runner born in Keiyo District on 27 March 1981, is Hilda Kibet. She is Sylvia Kibet’s sister and Lornah Kiplagat’s niece. In October 2007, she was granted Dutch citizenship.

She finished sixth in the RAK Half Marathon. This was her first race in 2011. With a personal record of 2:24.27 hours, she was second at the Rotterdam Marathon in March. She finished just behind Philes ongori. She placed third overall at the Montferland Run in Dec as the first Dutch runner.

She set a new best for the half marathon with a run of 67:59 minutes for fourth at the Roma-Ostia Half Marathon in February 2013. She was the fastest Dutch athlete at the Rotterdam Marathon with her third-place finish in 2:26:42 hours.

At the RAK Half Marathon, she ran a personal best time of 1:08.39. Kibet was the only runner to be selected to represent the Netherlands in the 2010 IAAF World Cross Country Championships. She finished in tenth in the senior race. She finished fourth behind Jessica Augusto in the 10,000 m at European Athletics Championships later in the season. In September 2010, she won Dam tot Damloop, running the fastest 10 mile time in the season (51:30), beating Lornah Kiplagat. She ran a personal record time of 2:26.23 at the Frankfurt Marathon in October, which was enough to place sixth in the fast race.
