Henry Sosa Esther, born July 28, 1985 in Dominican, is a professional Dominican baseball pitcher for Fubon Guardians of Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). He was born in El Seibo (Dominican Republic). He played previously in Major League Baseball (MLB), for the Houston Astros, and in the KBO League, for the Kia Tigers. Nexen Heroes, LG Twins and SK Wyverns.

Sosa signed a minor-league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers on December 13, 2013. He was then assigned to the AAA Albuquerque Isotopes. He was 2-2 with a 3.72 ERA in seven Isotopes starts.

Sosa signed with the LG Twins of the Korea Baseball Organization for the 2015 season. He re-signed with LG Twins for the 2016, 2017 and 2018 seasons. Since then, he has become one of the most well-known veteran foreign pitchers in the KBO League alongside Dustin Nippert. He became a free agent following the 2018 season.

On December 13, 2019, Sosa signed with the Fubon Guardians for the 2020 season.

The San Francisco Giants signed Sosa as an amateur-free agent on April 23, 2004. In 2006, he began his professional career with the AZL-Giants. He went 2-1 in nine games with them and had a 3.90 ERA (six starts). In 32/3 innings, he struck out 41 batters. He played in 2007 for both the Augusta Greenjackets and San Jose Giants. He was 6-0 in 13 games (10 starts) for the Greenjackets with a 0.73 ERA and 5-5 in 14 starts for the Giants with a 4.38 ERA. In 27 games, he was 11-5 with a 2.58 ERA. He struck out 139 batters in 125/3 innings. He was also a member of the Estrellas de Oriente in the Dominican Winter League. He was a combination of 3-4 and 4.21 ERA for the San Jose Giants in 2008 with 57/3 innings. Augusta only saw him play two games.

Sosa and Jason Stoffel were traded to the Houston Astros on July 19, 2011. Jeff Keppinger was also traded. On August 10, 2011, he made his Major League debut against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He lost the game after allowing four runs over six innings. He won his first game against the San Francisco Giants, August 25, when he allowed just one run over six innings. He was 3-5 in 10 starts with a 5.23 ERA.

On May 15, 2014, he signed with the Nexen Heroes of the KBO.
