Blanco was the Brewers’ most consistent catcher in 2000. He posted a.236 average with 7 home runs and 31 runs batted into. His 58.2% baserunners stolen percentage led National League catchers, the highest since 1982 when Bob Boone had a 58.2% success ratio. His batting average dropped to.210 during the 2001 season.
