Eight years after his last miniseries ended, he returned to Na Forma da Lei in 2010 as Edgar Mourao. He returned to acting in a telenovela in 2013, interpreting Cassiano Soares’ Flor do Caribe role with Grazi Masafera. Castelli portrayed Gabriel Brenner (Gabo), in 2015’s I Love Paraisopolis.

Castelli wed Brazilian supermodel Isabeli Fontana, on December 10, 2005. Their son, Lucas was born in Sao Paulo on October 23, 2006. Castelli and Fontana divorced in 2007. He began dating Fernanda Vasconcellos in 2008. They ended their relationship in 2012.
