Helena Ann Kennedy of The Shaws (QC, FRSA), HonFRSE, was born 12 May 1950. She is a Scottish barrister and broadcaster. From 2011 to 2018, she was Principal at Mansfield College in Oxford.
Kennedy was elected to Gray’s Inn’s bar in 1972. Kennedy was junior counsel to Myra Hindley, a child murderer, during her 1974 escape plan from Holloway Prison trial.
