Haim Bibas is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on December 1, 1969 in Beit She'an, Northern District, Israel. Haim Bibas (Hebrew: Hyym bybs ; born 1 December 1969) is the third mayor of Modi’in-Maccabim-Re’ut, an Israeli town, in office since 2008. Bibas, his wife and their three children have lived in the area since 1997. Since 2014, he is the head of The Federation of Local Authorities in Israel.

Bibas, who won 60% of the vote, was elected head of Israel’s Federation of Local Authorities in January 2014. The Federation represents 265 local authorities and is responsible for their representation before the national government as well as other bodies.

Bibas published an Op-Ed in January 2013 in Jerusalem Post addressing the importance education has in increasing the country’s enlistment in the Israel Defense Force. It was primarily addressed to Haredi and Arab communities. He said that it was necessary to provide suitable education programs in Haredi schools and Arab schools so that these communities can slowly, but surely absorb the benefits of military service. Modi’in Maccabim – Reut was also recognized that Modi’in Maccabim -Reut had the country’s highest enlistment rate for the second consecutive year.

Bibas was Modi’in’s voluntary deputy mayor before being elected as Modi’in Maccabim–Reut’s mayor in 2008. Bibas was the leader of Benjamin Netanyahu’s 2007 election campaign to become Prime Minister. He was reappointed chairman of Netanyahu’s election campaign for Prime Minister in January 2012.
