He was awarded the gold medal in both the 2012 and 2008 Summer Olympics as well as the younger cousin of Bertrand Gille.
Gille has been part of the French national team since the year 1996. Gille got his debut on 26 November 1996 against Serbia. Gille has played in 276 matches with 658 goal scoring over the course of his career. He was a player for the team that took home silver at the 2008 Summer Olympics and the in 2009 World Championships and 2010 European Championships. He was a member of the French team that achieved three wins in 2009, 2008 and the 2010 European Championships.
