Guillaume Bonnafond (born 23 June 1987) is a French former professional road bike racer who competed professionally from 2009 to 2018 , for both his AG2R La Mondiale and Cofidis teams. He was a pro at basketball and cycling during his teenager, but later he focused on cycling, completing his training at Ag2r La Mondiale’s Chambery Cyclisme Formation, subsequently becoming an amateur andlater in 2009, as an official.

In his debut season as a professional, he made his debut with Ag2r-La Mondiale in the Tour de Langkawi where he was placed in the 32nd position overall. In the preparation for the first major tour of his career,, Bonnafond finished 29th in the Giro del Trentino and the 32nd spot at the 2010 Tour de Romandie. Born in Valence Bonnafond came in at the third place in the overall classification for the Tour de Lorraine as a junior.
