Gregory Allen Smith (born October 12 1986) more popularly known as his Ring the name Gregory Iron, is an American professional wrestler who frequently competes at Absolute Intense Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Ohio, AAW, Chikara, Smash And Alpha 1 promotions for wrestling. After appearing as a well-loved participant of Steve Austin’s Podcast, Iron decided to create his own podcast, Iron-On Wrestling.

Iron was on the very initial episode on Pro Wrestling Ohio, televised on Sports Time Ohio, on November 20, 2007 winning against Johnny Gargano in what has been referred to as an upset. Iron’s defeat to Gargano began Iron’s most significant dispute, as Gargano claimed that he would never be defeated by a wrestler who had Iron’s illness. A brutal assault by Gargano during an PWO recording in February 2008, resulted in Iron in a position of no competition during three consecutive months. After that, when Iron returned to action in August of 2008, the squabble was resolved in the form of a Last Man Standing match, which was won by Gargano.
