Gregor Zupanc is one of the most popular and richest Television Producer who was born on July 5, 1976 in Belgrade, Serbia. Gregor Zupanc, (born 5 July 1976) is a Serbian film and TV director. Zupanc was involved in directing TV and film in 1998, at 21 years old. He took part in the creative workshops of remarkable talents at the “Research Centre for Radio Television Serbia”. In the centre, he created his first film experiment “KA.K.” that was inspired from Franz Kafka and by the aesthetics of Belgrade artist Kosta Bunusevac. Gregor produced the feature film Mediteran (2008) and a number of songs videos, television shows as well as a number of short films and documentaries. One of these, Pecina (The Cave) was presented in Belgrade’s Belgrade documentary and short-film festival.

The show was picked from RTS and aired at primetime on the third television channel of the nation with two seasons of success (24 shows). After the final episode of the series, the winner and more than 30 other young journalists were able to find work at the top Serbian electronic media, including television, radio along with Internet portals. In accordance with the City Secretariat of Health, in 2009, he was the director and produced a socially- engaged documentary “Mediteran” about the problem of addicts who use drugs in Belgrade. The film was created for youngsters with the intention to inform them about the negative effects of addiction. Film that runs for 60 minutes has been shown successfully in more than 250 primary and secondary schools and regular cinemas and received very positive reviews from the media, and was a part of several international festivals including New York Film video, Cine Pobre film festival, Kino Otok Izola Festival. From 2012 to 2014 was the editor-in-chief of www.superste.net the renowned website for science, culture, and young talent, which was that was funded through Erste Bank Novi Sad.

Director/Co-Writer of the short film “Interview with War” – part of multimedia project “The Interview” famous Greek artist Stephanos Tsivopulos who lives and works in Amsterdam. The project is the authorship work of Stephanos where Gregor participate as a major film director. The project was screened at major international festivals of contemporary art from Thessaloniki to New York.

Through the course, he set up a course for journalists who are young, in which around 80 students were taking through a two-month-free course on television journalism. The program required the production of 12 hours of the one-hour education television quiz series “15 Minutes of Fame” where young journalists competed in the TV genres like Talk Show and News, as well as writing for TV, etc. Every show had a unique jury, which was selected from Serbian leading journalists.
