Greg Reed (born June 5 1965) is a Republican member of the Alabama Senate serving in the 5th District from 2010. He was defeated by Democrat Brett Wadsworth in the midterm elections in 2010 to replace Charles Bishop in the 5th District.

In the 2015 legislative session which was held in 2015, Majority Leader Greg Reed continued his Medicaid reform efforts by approving legislation to establish Integrated Care Networks (ICNs). The legislation permits ICNs to sign contracts with Medicaid to offer long-term care in the capitated system. Alabama Medicaid estimates it will reduce the cost to taxpayers by $1.5 billion in the first 10 years.
