He attended St Leo Elementary, St. James Junior High, and Bishop Carroll High School in Calgary.
Since 2000, Kolodziejzyk focused on improving his overall health. In just eight years, he competed in twelve Ironman Triathlons and was able to qualify to compete at the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii with a 4th-place finish for his age group at Ironman Arizona in the year 2006. He has completed numerous marathons, including his first marathon, the Boston Marathon, many 50 mile ultramarathons and was 4th overall in the 2010 San Francisco One Day ultramarathon which covered 101.8 miles in just 24 hours. He completed the race in 2012 Kolodziejzyk took on the treacherous 75-kilometer long West Coast Trail, solo in just 26 hours.
In 2008, Kolodziejzyk launched human-power.com where he worked as a motivational speaker.
Kolodziejzyk has been featured on Discovery Channel Canada’s show Daily Planet twice, on the cover and two-page spread in Popular Science magazine, featured in Men’s Journal, Wired magazine, National Geographic, Explore, and the 2009 and 2010 editions of the Guinness World Records book.
The year was 1986 when Kolodziejzyk established his next business, Sharper Cards, which manufactured and sold dental marketing materials. In 2003, Greg along with his wife and their business partners Helen (who was the the acting the CEO of Sharper Cards), sold the company to their biggest US rival, Smart Health, Inc. which is based in Phoenix.

Greg Kolodziejzyk (born March 10 1960) was an Canadian cyclist who holds various world records on recumbent bikes and pedal-powered boats.
The year was 1985. He founded his company Image Club Graphics, Inc which provides digital artwork, typefaces, and stock photos for the publishing industry via it’s Image Club catalog. Image Club developed and marketed the biggest collection of digitized fonts worldwide licensing some of the fonts of the world’s top foundries. Image Club is credited as being the first company to digitize stock photographs, that they sold via CD-ROM disk. In the mid-80s Greg together with Shawn Abbott from AND Group developed the first CD ROM locking technology to Image Club which was licensed to the software industry and used on millions of discs. The year 1994 saw Image Club was acquired by Aldus Corporation, who at that time was taken over through Adobe Systems. After the death of Kolodziejzyk’s in 1994 The Image Club division was purchased from Adobe Systems by Image Club employee Brad Zumwalt and a group of investors. The division was changed to Eyewire and then transferred by Getty Images. Another significant spin-off that is that is attributed with Image Club software and marketing innovations was istockphoto.com that was founded in the early 2000s by former Image Club employees Bruce Livingston and his brother-in-law Patrick Lor.
