Gregory Grant Desme (born April 4, 1986 located in Bakersfield, California) is an American center fielder for professional baseball who is an agent-in- residence. Desme was an aspiring junior right fielder from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo at the time he was selected into the 2007 season to the Oakland Athletics. After a season of 30-30 in 2009 in the minors, and also receiving the honor of being recognized as the Arizona Fall League MVP, Desme was forced to retire. Desme was able to come out of retirement in the year 2018 to join Lancaster Barnstormers. Lancaster Barnstormers of the independent Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.

On May 22nd on the 22nd of May, Desme came out of retirement to join the Lancaster Barnstormers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. He was previously serving as the head of the baseball team for Ave Maria University. He signed a free-agent contract after the season of 2018.
