He later earned an undergraduate degree, and then worked for a private company prior to going back to Glengarry. He also worked full-time as an administrator for the Husqvarna dealership in Alexandria. He is bilingual in English as well as French and his kids were educated in French schools for language in Glengarry.
Crack announced his resignation from politics in April of 2018 just a few months prior to when the following Ontario election.
He ran in the 2011 provincial election in the riding of Glengarry–Prescott–Russell. He was defeated by Progressive Conservative candidate Marilissa Gosselin by 1,372 votes. He was elected again in the 2014 election , defeating PC nominee and sister from Noble Villeneuve, Roxane Villeneuve Robertson with 8,554 votes.

Grant Crack (born April 2 1963) was a politician who served as a senator who was a politician in Ontario, Canada. He was a Liberal member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 2011 to 2018 who represented the rural Eastern Ontario riding of Glengarry–Prescott–Russell.
Crack was mayor for the city of North Glengarry, as well as the mayor of the town in Alexandria during 1994, prior to amalgamation of the municipality with North Glengarry, serving on council until his election as MPP.
