Graeme Lindsay Sturges (born 31 May 1955) is an Australian politician from Australia. He was an Labor Party member of the Tasmanian House of Assembly from 2002 until 2010 and from between 2011 and 2014, representing the Hobart-based electorate in Denison. He was elected twice prior to losing his seat in the year 2010 but was able to regain it in an election countback after his resignation David Bartlett in 2011, and resigned at his election in 2014. He was the State Minister for Infrastructure between 2008 and the year 2010.

Sturges later lost his seat at his seat in the Tasmanian state election of March 2010. He only got 1,185 votes in the primary. He was appointed chairman of TasBuild’s Board of TasBuild.

In his time as a parliamentarian, Sturges was reported to have committed a few “gaffes”. In March 2009 Sturges was accused of squandering his position to raise an issue between the son of his and an employee under the direction of Metro Tasmania. In a separate incident that was widely reported, Sturges reportedly shouted at the TT-Line security guard and said “Don’t you know who I am? I’ll have your job.” Sturges apologized to the guard, however, he later claimed that he did not make the remarks that were that were attributed to him. He also claimed that his apology was been imposed by the media advisors to the Premier.
