He was only Cabinet Minister for 15 consecutive years in the Government of Madhya Pradesh, India. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party and is consecutive eighth-time Member of Legislative Assembly, representing Rehli(Vidhan Sabha Constituency) since 1985.
