She was a representative of Moldova during the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song “A Century of Love”.
The year 2013 was the time she fulfilled an ambition she had for a long time and appeared on stage in The Erotic Carousel by David Hare and directed by George Tavadze at the Eugene Ionesco theater in Chisinau.
From 2009 until her present time, she has performed in the National Symphony Orchestra TeleRadio Moldova, and also with the jazz groups Alex Calancea Band, ANGRY Band and the folk-music group Taraf lautaresc. In 2010 she went on tour across Europe in conjunction with Alex Calancea Band. in 2011, Burlacu took part in the performance Women Day in the celebration Forty Years La Francophonie organized by UNESCO in Paris. In 2012 the singer released her Christmas collection called Sa Ninga Cerul Overnight and also performed at an event for charity together with Black & White and Jazz Big Band (Tiraspol) in the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet.

Burlacu started singing around the the age of seven. She took violin lessons at the school of music located in Balti she graduated from Balti College of Music in Balti as violinist. In 1993, she attended Chisinau’s Academy of Music in Chisinau to study folk and jazz music. After graduating on the 17th of September 1997 Burlacu began her professional stage. She has played at festivals in Germany, France, Ireland, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus as well as China. She has received numerous awards at international and national festival in jazz pop, folk, and pop.
From 1998 to 2011, Burlacu was a vocalist with the jazz vocal group Univox. Between 2005 and 2007 she taught jazz vocals within the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts in Moldova. She was awarded an award through the Soros Foundation. In 2007 Burlacu was part of international tours with Cuban group Buena Vista Social Club, which was based in Romania. She was a representative of Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Century of Love”. She also took part at the Golden Stag Festival, where she won the top of the list in Brasov, Romania.
In 2014, at the invitation of the Association Connexions Moldavie and with the support of the Office for Diaspora Relations, Burlacu held two concerts, Winter Jazz in Paris and Luxembourg, where she was warmly welcomed by Moldovan diaspora representatives and heads of the Moldovan Embassy in Belgium and France. This was the first official concert of representatives of Moldovan Culture in Luxembourg.
