Since 2005, he has been the advisor of the member of The Parliament of Ukraine Mustafa Dzhemilev and the legal advisor of the Congress of National Communities of and the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people on international legal issues. Additionally, he collaborated with Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union and the Institute of Religious Freedoms.
