George Bazeley (born 19 January 1984 from Echuca, Victoria) is an Australian field hockey player from Australia. He plays the role of goalkeeper. Bazeley is a part of The Kookaburras, the Australia field hockey team for men. He is a member of his team the Victorian Vikings in the Australian Hockey League in domestic competition as well as the Uttar Pradesh Wizards in the Hockey India League. He made his debut for the Australian national team in January 2009 in a match against the Netherlands. He took home an award of gold in the 2010 FIH World Cup in Delhi, India. He was awarded three consecutive gold medals in the 2010 and 2009 the 2011 FIH Tournaments for Hockey Champions. He is a part of the this year’s Summer Olympics Australian men’s national team and is trying to get a place on the team to represent Australia in this year’s Summer Olympics.
