Claffey who acted in the role of Jack Toxic, made his singles debut at Grand Pro Wrestling West Park Fun Day and was defeated by Scarlett Web. Between March and April Toxic attempted to get into his place in the Crazy Cruiser 8 2008 but repeatedly failed. However he did win in the Last Chance Saloon battle royal and thus qualified for the event. Two May Toxic lost in the quarter finals to El Ligero in the quarter finals. In Justice For All, he beat Bubblegum in a rumble-qualifying match , but was unable to participate in the rumble. In Guts & Glory, he was back under the name Jack Gallagher to compete in the scrabble game in four ways to win The GPW British Championship and lost. At Battlefield the following year, he was eliminated from an iron man contest lasting 30 minutes that involved Zack Diamond and Mikey Whiplash in an opportunity to win the GPW British Championship; however the following month, in Heroes & Villains, he beat Diamond to win the title. He held the title till Do Or Die, in December, and lost the title against Ste Mann. Gallagher presented his own belt, but lost the title to Ste Mann. Mann then was absent for 12 months of Grand Pro.

Gallagher made his Grand Pro return at the 2013 Crazy Cruiser 8 where he defeated Bubblegum in the Quarter Finals before being pinned by eventual winner El Ligero in the Semi-Finals. At the start of 2014, Gallagher was defeated by CJ Banks at “Back With A Bang”, the beginning of a rivalry.

The rivalry between Gallagher and Banks continued into 2015 and at Back With A Bang, Banks picked up the win to end the feud. Following a loss to Chris Ridgeway at “Cruel Summer”, Gallagher took another hiatus from Grand Pro.

On the 8th of June, the 8th of June, 2008 Claffey in the form of Toxic, participated of The Lotto-Thunder Tournament and reached the semi-final, which he lost to Jack Domino. On the 13th of September He took part at FSW Trophy Tournament 2009. FSW Trophy Tournament 2009 and was eliminated in the initial round , by Sparx. He started with the Ring name of Jack Gallagher. In Futureshock #48 Gallagher was the winner of his place in the FSW Trophy Tournament 2010 . He took on Dave Breaks in the final. On the 6th of November, 2011 Gallagher won against Dave Rayne to be his first FSW Champion. He held the title for 14 months, prior to losing the title against Davey Richards at Futureshock #61. After Futureshock #62, Gallagher beat Stixx as well as Zack Gibson to become the most popular candidate in winning the FSW Championship. Chris Egan announced that Gallagher was scheduled to face Sonjay Dutt in FutureShock #74. Gallagher was instead facing Jay Lethal at FutureShock #74. Claffey has been trained by Alex Shane and the Futureshock staff. The professional made his debut at 16 on the 4th of November, 2006 . He wrestled at Futureshock #11, wrestling under the ring name of Jack Toxic. On 15 April 2013, Anthony came together with Craig Classic, James Raideen, Jason New, Maybach Beta, Sebastian Concrete, Steven Walters and Tama Williams to form a gaijin stable named “New Age Wrestling Future” (NWF) under the guidance of Akebono.
